The different valleys also offer a variety of landscapes from High Alpine terrain with cliffs and Alm meadows to slopes through the forests and the space between the slopes is accessible for freeriders.

The area had a prestigious reputation that is well earnt. If maximum mileage is your thing, 600km of pisted slopes await you and with 32 black runs, mogul challenges, chutes and couloirs aplenty plus vast acres of off piste even the most advanced skiers should be satisfied. Beginners and intermediates meanwhile are all well catered for in the Three Valleys as you can enjoy the area at your own pace and level.
Le Menuires itself is a purpose built village originally constructed in the 60s and 70s so don’t expect quaint traditional buildings, but more recently newer and attractive traditional style properties in the surrounding suburbs have helped to soften its appeal and the resort gives some of the best access to the Three Valleys.
