Sample Itinerary - what you can do during your time away!

Day 1: Arrive in New York and travel to your accommodation. Take a walk through Central Park and explore the surrounding area.

Day 2: Visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the morning, then head to Lower Manhattan to see the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. In the evening, stroll through the Financial District and enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant in Battery Park City.

Day 3: Explore Museum Mile on the Upper East Side, starting with the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Walk along Fifth Avenue, visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Centre, and take in the views from Top of the Rock. Enjoy dinner in Hell’s Kitchen or the West Village.

Day 4: Cross the Brooklyn Bridge and explore Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Discover Williamsburg or DUMBO, explore local shops, and have lunch at a café or food market. Visit the Empire State Building in the evening then end the day with dinner at a rooftop bar or hip restaurant maybe.

Day 5: Take a walk to Bryant Park and enjoy lunch at a nearby café. It’s then time to head back to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

NB - Due to it's very nature exploring New York does involve a reasonable amount of walking, please bear that in mind when booking.

Passport validity

For UK passport holders your passport must be:

• Issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the ‘date of issue’)
• valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
• You must check your passport meets these requirements before you travel. If your passport was issued before 1 October 2018, extra months may have been added to its expiry date.

 Travel Insurance

Please ensure that you have adequate personal travel insurance to suit your requirements in place before you travel.

United States Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA)

An ESTA (officially known as the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) is part of the United States Visa Waiver program. It lets you visit the US for a period of 90 days or less without the need for a visa – as long as it's for a holiday or a business trip.

An ESTA is open to all citizens of visa waiver countries, including the UK. You can check the full list of countries that are part of the program, on the US Customers and Border Protection visa waiver requirements page.https://www.dhs.gov/visa-waiver-program-requirements.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate entry visa or completed ESTA for this holiday https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta. The cost of an ESTA is currently $40.and is valid for two years, or until your passport expires - whichever comes first. Please be aware that if you have travelled to Cuba on your current passport you will not be eligible under the ESTA program and must complete a full visa declaration. Please ensure you have completed the ESTA application a minimum of 72 hours before your travel.
