But there is a lot more to skiing Chamonix than just challenging slopes, and skiers and snowboarders of all levels should find runs to the suit them. And you certainly don’t need to be an expert to enjoy the truly spectacular scenery. There’s an efficient ski bus which links the five main ski areas. At the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc massif, the resort’s setting is both unique and breathtaking. The town of Chamonix offers an excellent range of sporting and leisure facilities, and the nightlife, complete with an excellent choice of restaurants, is unrivalled, The choice of skiing is remarkable, with testing slopes for ambitious skiers at Argentière, cruisy blues and fun reds at Brévent-Flégère and Le Tour and skiing for beginners in Chamonix and at the pretty nearby village of Les Houches.
