With an impressive snow record and above average sunshine to put you in the mood, this resort has over 200km of pistes and areas to suit all levels of skier and snowboarder. This resort is great for skiing or snowboarding - You can ski from 3,400m all the way to 1,300m without getting on a lift. If you are an off piste extreme skier, you may be interested in La Garve, offering some of the most exciting and challenging terrain in the world - be warned you must arrange a local guide to take you to La Grave, as skiing is dangerous!

Hotel L’Oree des Pistes - One of France’s oldest and most prestigious ski resorts skiing is great in Les Deux Alpes thanks to the resort’s high altitude location and glacier, which is the largest in Europe. Nestled at the foot of the slopes, the Hotel L’Oree des Pistes has an amazing location just alongside the piste. Facing south, with a superb view of the mountains the hotel has possibly the best location in the resort: Ride to the top of the slopes with the cable car just outside the hotel! The mountains have never been as close. You can even ski on Europe's largest glacier at 3,600 m and take advantage of the numerous activities available in the resort! Official rating 2*.

Ski carriage
Ski carriage is available on all flights and can be added when you book. Depending on the airport and airline your flight is with you may be able to include your boots with your ski carriage. If not and you wish to carry this separate to your hold luggage you may need to purchase additional cabin baggage (see below).
Stansted/Manchester – flights with Ryanair. Hand luggage small bag plus 20kg hold luggage, ski carriage only for skis. Additional charge for further cabin bag if taking boots separately

Passport validity
You should have at least 6 months remaining on your passport from the start date of your holiday and your passport must be less than 10 years old (even if it has 6 months or more left).

A UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) gives you the right to access state-provided healthcare during a temporary stay in the European Union (EU).
UK-issued European Health Insurance Cards (EHICs) are still valid and offer the same cover as GHICs in the EU.
Once your EHIC has expired, you’ll be able to replace it with a GHIC.
