A few nights away, with people

Most of these are three or four nights. Long enough to feel you have been away, short enough to take without spending the year’s holiday on it — and a long weekend is a smaller thing to risk than a fortnight with people you have not met. A host is with the group from the airport. Breakfast is included on every one of them and an airport transfer on many; beyond that each holiday lists exactly what its price covers and what it does not, because ‘included’ covers a different amount at each of them. One or two run to a week or more. What makes a short break here is the shape of it — one place, a few days, nothing punishing — rather than a fixed number of nights. The pace is gentle to moderate, which mostly means walking about on level ground rather than anything strenuous, and each holiday carries its grading before you book. Sharing a twin with another solo traveller of the same sex costs nothing on top of the price shown.
