All inclusive holidays for solo female travellers: what is paid, and how you arrive
The easiest all inclusive holidays for solo female travellers are hosted ones, where the meals and drinks are paid before you leave home and there is a group to sit down with when you arrive. Spice Escapes runs small hosted group holidays for people travelling on their own, and on All Inclusive Perfect Paris your hotel is a boat on the Seine, dinner is settled and nobody has to ask for a table for one.
You have the time, the money and a list of places to see, and no wish to split a bill with people you met that morning. Groups are around fifteen people, and some reach twenty. Most people book on their own. Here is what each holiday below puts in the price:
- Paris: full board with drinks on board, so your purse stays in the cabin.
- Fuerteventura: all meals and drinks at an adults-only beach hotel.
- The Mediterranean cruise: a drinks package and gratuities on board.
- The fjords: full board, the spa, the pool and the hot tubs, with no drinks listed.
The other question is the journey out on your own: who meets me at the airport, and what happens if my flight is late? Each section below covers arriving, and Rosie, the chat on every holiday page, will take the question too. New to this? Paris: leave your case at the boat and go straight out
All Inclusive Perfect Paris is the shortest of the four, 3 nights on the MS Botticelli, moored a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Come by Eurostar or fly into Charles de Gaulle, link up with others for the transfer, and leave your luggage at the docks so the first afternoon is spent in the city, in company. You can board from six in the evening for a themed Parisian welcome night.
Two guided tours are included, the city by coach and Montmartre on foot up to Sacré-Cœur, and the afternoons are yours. There is a gala dinner and, river conditions allowing, a cruise through Paris by night. Your host is Samantha Pike, and the dates are 3 Feb 2027 – 6 Feb 2027. From £679, 13 places left.
If Paris is the one, see the dates and book online on All Inclusive Perfect Paris, or browse more city breaks and holidays in France.
Fuerteventura: winter sun with nothing to sign for at dinner
All Inclusive Fuerteventura Winter Sun & Fun is 7 nights at the Occidental Jandía Royal Level, an adults-only four-star hotel overlooking Jandía Beach in the Canary Islands. The cooking is Canarian and international, and your room looks out to sea. Fill the days with the beach, two outdoor pools and the Sanagua Spa, or the optional trips to nearby villages and markets.
Ask Rosie how arrivals work on this one before you book. Your host is Steve Dell, and the dates are 30 Jan 2027 – 6 Feb 2027. From £1,199, 3 places left.
A night in Rome first, so a late flight cannot cost you the cruise
On Mediterranean Cruising Italian Style with WingsItaly you fly to Rome the day before the ship sails, WingsItaly meets you at the airport, and a hosted walk shows you the streets around a central hotel. Next day the group travels together to Civitavecchia, the port of Rome, to board the Costa Toscana, where your drinks package and gratuities are included. The first dinner in Rome, prepared by the sisters at Palazzo Lante near the Pantheon, is optional and not included.
It is 8 nights, hosted by Andrea Moro of WingsItaly and Claire Dymond, with Savona, Marseilles and Barcelona among the calls. Dates: 6 May 2027 – 14 May 2027. From £1,928, 11 places left. See all our cruises, or read going on a cruise alone as a woman.
The fjords from Tilbury, with every meal in the fare
Summertime Fjordland Cruise sails from London Tilbury and back, so there is no airport at all. The ship, Ambience, calls at Eidfjord, Austefjorden for Bergen, Måløy and Geiranger, with full board, the spa, the pool and the hot tubs in the fare. Drinks are not listed, so ask Rosie what the fare covers at the bar.
On sea days there is a group to sit with in the bars and at dinner, and Pam Harte sails with you. It is 8 nights. Dates: 21 Aug 2027 – 29 Aug 2027. From £1,129, 4 places left.
Questions people ask
Are these holidays only for women?
No. Spice Escapes groups are mixed, men and women, and most people book on their own. People come for the holiday and the company, and most go home with new friends.
Can I go without flying?
Yes. The Fjordland cruise sails from London Tilbury and back, and you can reach the Paris boat by Eurostar.
Will I pay more for a room of my own?
Yes. Every Spice Escapes holiday carries a single supplement or a room-to-yourself cost, the all inclusive ones too. Our single supplement page explains it.
What if I land at a different time from the group?
It depends on the holiday, so ask Rosie or the team before you book. In Paris you can leave your bags at the docks and link up with others for the day, and on the Mediterranean cruise you land in Rome the day before the ship sails.
Pick your week and book online
